Hands

Emma's very busy discovering her hands.
She flutters them through the air.
Up and down, to her mouth, across her face.

I took this series of photos in about three minutes.
I was trying for "the perfect" Emma's-hands-by-her-face photo.
I was disappointed, at first, thinking that I had missed it, that I should have clicked just a second earlier or later.
Then when I tried to select a few "representative shots," I couldn't.

All of them are Emma. Emma exploring her hands and what they can do and what she can do with them.

aaaaaaah, those lashes. They kill me.

What also kills me: Emma's love of holding others' hands. When nursing, she searches with her free hand until she finds a finger, then clings to it like she's getting her milk from there.
